Lake.

Sketched with watercolor in Stillman&Birn Gamma series sketchbook. It was wonderful to be alone at the lake.
Overheard 2 boys conversation. They walked along the water, looking at something only clear to them bugs, twigs, tadpoles or rocks.
Bigger boy: How old are you?
Little: I am 6.
Bigger boy: Oh, I am 9, so I am six years older than you, so you have to listen to me.
Little: Mmm...
Bigger boy: When I was your age I already knew everything.

He knew everything except maybe addition and subtraction! LOL This is a gorgeous page, Nikira. What a gorgeous framed piece it would make!

Hi Nikira. That is a funny tale! I love to see others doing what I myself love to do! Love the sketch ... and it's nice to see your sketching gear too!

Thank you very much CrimsonLeaves, you are too kind to me. I think I should try exercise in watercolor planning 2 layers, I am avoiding it now because want the color fresh, but the other way is better, proper.
About kids, I use to write down funny things my daughter said when she was little, it is something only kids could create. :-)

Thank you very much Michael! I think that that quick way of sketching is the most valuable lesson artist could have. And I love seeing art gear too. Always want something new. :-)
