Last page in my pocket Moleskine sketch.

Due to snowy weather decide not to go to work today, made big plans, got lazy, enjoyed every little thing, stretched breakfast in bed till light supper. And this is my goodbye to small Moleskine.

CatSofa - my invention.

Sometimes, especially when the weather is bad and I don't want to go to work, I am getting creative and inventing things.  This is today's idea: you watching TV or writing poem in your Moleskine and your cats are busy in their playhouse right near you.

Birch trees in the room. Strie as a background.

I love trees, feel like flat brushes leading my hand themselves, creating organic movement of the branch. I guess it is coming from childhood, when you laying in bed and can't sleep and imagine magic scenes in little cracks and shadows on the ceiling, see prince on a horse in the garden, or may be it is you on the horse, or may be you are a garden.

As I  always say,  try to find positive outcome in any situation or  circumstance, I was trying to use ticket  as a subject for sketching, you can see my teethmarks  on the bottom of the paper, so it was not that easy. Corner of Bedford Ave in Brooklyn.  Ball pen Pieni in pocket Moleskine.

Luster stone wall with bottom panels.

Inside panels I did kinda marbley looking glazing. And now I am in the other room and I was dancing (to wonderful new songs of Sade) and painting, ignoring men, working there (they already accepted me as an eccentric artist) and didn't know that client was watching me on his phone through the camera in the room. I taped it first, but worker came and made a hole in it. This how I knew. I wont stop dancing, it helps me think. Lol.

Room in sepia tones.

Happy day.

Another happy day. Scribbling here, there, memo, lonely lunch at work, music, joy.

Smile. February challenge in Skine site.

My cat Fellini. He makes me smile all the time.Whenever I am home he demands my full attention. He is screaming sadly and weak behind the door of my work room, so I have let him in and he is happily warming up his butt on Time Machine or walking in front of the computer. He runs in front of me with his head backwards, looking if I am strictly following him, so I have to protect him from bumping into walls. He likes to walk with his eyes closed in the morning. And he is outcast among other, normal cats. I used Shin-Gansai in watercolor Moleskine.

Laughing Buddha

I used white pen I got from JetPens on the top of graphite wash and touch of Shin Gansai watercolor.

Coffee break.

I know, watercolor doesn't work on this planner's paper, but I wanted  to sketch so badly. No time for normal drawing.

Shin-Gansai (pretty opaque)  in small pocket diary from last year.

Sketching at lunch.

I miss scribbling in my Moleskine.

Golden birds.

This what I been doing lately among other things, longing for few minutes with my Moley somewhere in the corner and running around trying to figure out new projects. Tomorrow I am going North again, despite promised snow storm.  I flooded my computer with crazy widgets, because I can't control my curiosity, so now I have Cuckoo clock with bird and mean looking spider, strolling in all directions among other useful things in my dashboard.

My favorite Chinese.

This small Chinese restaurant in Brooklyn operated by the family: mother, father and 2 sons. The best food. All ingredients feels natural and wholesome. On the counter standing fat laughing Budda with openings for coins on the pedestal. One of the sons riding on green electric bike with the motor, looks like tiny motoroller.  Charming place.

This what I did today.

I put music loud, my orange ipod with Inna's speaker, kept singing (outside of the tune), even danced,  ignored young spanish painters, client, contractor,  I painted trees. This wall does not allow any touch (Luster), no pencil, no chalk or wrong brushstroke. So all in my head and then on the wall. I need deep concentration.  I thought this is my life going, I am living in this moment, so I should enjoy it as much as I can. Everything you do should be done with pleasure. Not finished yet. Few more walls, 2 more trees. Tomorrow I am going North, hope to touch my Bijou.
