Voorhies Ave.

Being late for appointment gave me a chance to sketch for a few minutes, which made me happy. I drew old lady's shoes with can of soda, she stuck in. First she was arguing with receptionist about drinking  soda being bad for her, than leaving for PT in her socks. Something about her was really fun, may be her rusty voice, may be nasty tone, may  be green suit.  I understood how hard was for her to put her shoes on. I wish I will sketch her, but I was called in before she came back. Here I used Palomino Blackwing, which was perfect for this thirsty sketchbook.

Hi Niki,

I"m over from Strathmore. Fun to see your blog. I haven't drawn in so long and your pictures are inspiring me to get back to it. I love the fluidity of what you've done. I'm following on your blog. Hope you'll follow on mine as well.

Hi Coleen! Do you speak Ukrainian or Russian? My grandmother was born there, so I heard many beautiful songs on Ukrainian, she had coloratura soprano. Thank you for following, I will explore and follow your blog, it is so interesting. :-)

Thank you very much, CrimsonLeaves! Because of you I spend sometime today sketching outside and even witnessed car accident (not serious one).
