Smile.

It says Smile in Japanese. I am finally trying Diamine ink in a full range. I like the color and flow, it is a very friendly sepia.
This weekend I became a happy owner of Kindle, present from my daughter, thank you tredecillion  times Inna!
So what can I do? Draw.
I Used Diamine ink and green Kuretake for eyes on Bockingford 90 lb paper.

She is just gorgeous, Nikira! Are you Japanese yourself? First I thought you were, then I thought you were Russian (I'm not sure why)...Then you shared pic of your daughter and she has gorgeous blue eyes! You are a unique mystery to me.

Thank you very much CrimsonLeaves! :-) I am from Russia, Moscow, Jewish descendant. I just love Japan and Japanese culture and dream one day to visit. For me Japanese letters have amazing visual character, they dancing, cry and smile. Also I love the idea to mix different languages on my drawings because it makes me feel like I belong to the world and I am a citizen of Earth, which is true.

Thank you so much Joan, I really appreciate your support. :-) I tried to work with texture here, so this work is still experimental.
