Blooming trees announce beginning of new spring, new hope. It passes so quickly, that I tried to hang on, to prolong, to absorb, to remember. Somewhere in Brooklyn, Midwood area. Colored pencils in Moleskine.
Every year I pass by amazing huge pink tree near my home, elderly people sitting and chatting under it , may be like 30 people, petals falling on their heads. Every year it takes my breath away, I want to draw it and I missed it this year again.

Oh yes - how fleeting these blossom days are - especially if frosts knock them back, as they do here. Beautifully captured. x
