Really, Zoe? Did you live there? I use to go there often when my daughter was little. I forgot how it feels, how beautiful birds are. This store on Coney Island Ave closed, where best knishes were sold. But I may not know all the places.
Yea, I remember the sign and we use to buy it when we lived on Coney Island Ave, near the water. I remember the sign changed I believe in 2004, I checked online, it said "After about 69 years at the same spot at the corner of Brighton Beach Avenue and Coney Island Avenue Mrs. Stahl's Knishes.... gone".

I haven't been too Brighten in so long I can't even remember when, but I think I knew that Stahl's closed. I believe it was a family business.
I wish I had taken photographs or made drawings of the area-just last night I tried to make a few line drawings and memories came flooding back.
