I wanted this portrait to be at the same sketchbook. I hated him, I loved him, at 17 I ran away from him. He forgave me. He was my best friend. After his death I learned things about him I never knew.
I started with Blackwing, but it was too soft too fast. So I used my harsh antique pencil and Blackwing on the top again.

Nice portrait. You know how to get information from a photo without simply reproducing it. Good job.
Thank you, Clyde Semler, I think we still connected.
Very touching tribute to your father.
Thank you, Serena. They leave, but our love stays with us, I even passed it to my daughter, who never saw him. :-)
