My Greatest Triumph.
When I was 20, I rode horses, swam, rode a bike, skied, but I never ice skated. My best friend, who visited me for sketching on weekends, once told me, there should be nothing in this world you can't do, she said, trust me. And after midnight, when yard was empty, we went to the ice skating rink. Since that it was our little secret, we skated at night for years. She died 22 years ago. And I never ice skated since then. And never will.

Neptune Ave, Brooklyn.
It was too dark and too cold to draw. I need headlight like Lapin has and fingerless gloves like Gabi Campanario has. Or I have to move to Florida to draw palm trees. Lamy Safari in pocket moley and running nose.

F Train.
On the way home from Manhattan I sketched this stripy man. We went to our wonderful dentist, Inna helped him with Facebook and I bought a lot of hot sugary nuts. I finished sketch at home with Tradio.
In the evening I showed to Inna amazing works by Stoneturtle, his drawings for "Master And Margarita".
Click on the link in Russian under each of his drawings to see it larger.

Last Chance.
While my friends were skiing, I sketched at the frozen parking lot in the middle of snowy village my daughter's favorite restaurant "Last Chance". Food is nice and the owner is a sweetheart. You can get there amazing violet gum and mints, old fashioned, smelling like perfume.
